The group were with the Wadsley & Loxley Commoners removing Bracken which was dominating the Bilberry & Heather. Photographs kindly donated by James Hookway.

The group were pulling up the Bracken
We were putting it in Drag bags and removing from this part of the site
There was a thick mat of dead bracken that was removed
Some were raking, others pulling the bracken and some removing it from the site
